Off the subject, but oh, wow, what some wonderful views you have from there.

    • Jean says:

It used to be gorgeous with trees, but when they burned down we did get the views. (Some day I’ll post some old pictures.) We made the right decision to stay and rebuild.

  2. Ann Thompson says:

So when they do stuff like this is it just the trees and fallen branches they are taking out? Do they do anything with the tall grass that is around?

    • Jean says:

We just had them take out bushes and fallen trees. Andy wants to keep the grass, and even plant more. Theoretically we should give it a good haircut, but I’m letting Andy make the decisions. He is going to try to keep the bushes down, and he, Kaitlin, and Torben will have to clear out the area where he planted some evergreens. He didn’t have the guys work there with their machinery because he wanted to protect the little trees. We’ll have to see. It is in a lot better shape fire wise than it was before.

Andy has wonderful posture! (that was my first thought)
then I’m like Rose… what fabulous views! Tempi will love it.
we know how she likes looking at the vistas all around. 😀

I take it that there are no plans to re-plant those open spaces. It has its own special beauty, but I can imagine how wonderful it looked fully treed!

  5. looking good … sorry behind with reading posts…my mind has been elsewhere! Still is a bit off the planet but getting there…
