Quiet Week

They came up last Monday to start wiring the solar panels. But for some reason they haven’t come back since :):

So it’s been a quiet peaceful week. I’ve just about recovered healthwise now, so I’m not complaining at all. What was your week like?

Thanks to Mike, tammy, bikehikebabe, Cathy, Rummuser and Kate for commenting on last week’s post.

By and large peaceful bar one mishap about which I have written in my weekly list. I was also adventurous and went to a movie!

    – I have never had personal experience with solar panels in any way. Would the panels be functional at this time of the year? If not, could that be why those folks are not in a rush to complete the project?

My lesson for the day: You’re still blithe about it.

    >I’ve just about recovered healthwise now, so I’m not complaining at all.
    – You didn’t complain, Jean, merely shared. And even if you did complain, if it made you feel better to do so, and our responses made you feel *even* better, then we fulfilled our duties as fellow bloggers (to help in that process), yes?

Glad you are getting back to health.

It has been a bit of an intense week. Preparing ourselves to move in a couple of months.

    Rummuser,
Yes, it sounds as if your life is a lot more adventuresome this year. 🙂

    Kate,
What I meant to say was I was glad it was a quiet week and I didn’t have to do anything.

    Evan,
I sympathize. That’s a big job and there are a lot more things I would rather spend my time on. I hope the move turns out to be rewarding.

last week was a bit busy BUT this week totally out of order…and an item I wanted to do, not going to happen!

Yesterday was Public Holiday #2 (we had one the before) so that makes them both 4 day weeks! I had planned to be out yesterday with a friend and we did indeed go out…a lot of walking but in reasonably fine but cloudy weather.

Today it was start of year for my craft group…not that anyone much was on board. But I needed to sort out the fundraising items so that when punters do arrive, it’s not a complete shambles….the day is absolutely gorgeous – lots of sunshine etc.

Tomorrow, Wed was supposed to be for something else. None the less it’s still going to be interesting. Going to visit a relative and at the same time check out a “foodies” vegetable patch. Never met the guy but he lives nearby the other place so thought I would like to “see it” but he’s not going to be home…

Thurs/Frid have local appointments for totally different things but that’s okay…they just kinda bugger up anything else I could slot in.

Sat is 1st day for punters at the fundraising place…but it’s going to be difficult for everyone as the Administrative Person died a few weeks ago and so a replacement will be needed (fortunately I do not actually belong to that group, so I won’t be “it”)

This time in 3weeks, I will be back at the schoolyard so anything I thought I needed to do has to be slotted in NOW!!!!

  6. That made me smile. Snow here too – though I doubt as much as you are getting.

  7. Jean says:

    Cathy,
I hope everything went well. I’m still trying to summon up some energy to get anything done. In the fullness of time…..

    blackwatertown,
Those snow scenes are soothing, aren’t they?

  8. Cathy in NZ says:

Jean, I spent more than a decade trying to summon up energy for most things every day…it seemed like it was sudden, and the mainstream medic profs found out I could get some help; actually lots of help!

I still get tired but nowhere near that period…just take one day at time. Remember the self-management and you will be okay…but sometime S-M doesn’t always work. We are human!!
