There were five to eight guys working this week. The shed is now ready for the heater and the final wiring. Also the well house is ready for insulation, final wiring and plumbing. And Joe received the plans for the main floor of the cabin from the architect and hopes to start framing next week.
It was a productive week here. How was yours?

Semester lectures/tutorials completed…making good progress now I’ve had more guidelines on the “makeup of it”
It will be good to be free of the study schedule for around a month so I now need to spend some time this long w/end (Queens Birthday) working out what I will do when…and for why!
But first up, going to buy a new column oil heater as my other one is not really firing up well (it’s very old)…then some op-thrift-shopping for a couple of things I really do need! I get to go further afield when I’m with someone with a car 🙂
Moderately productive and pretty easy. A nice week.

Had a devil of a time, dealing with the “assembly” of feet/wheels to heater and know something funny. Do not lift heater up otherwise the wheels will fall off. Of course that is the reason you roll it – it has wheels…
Then it wouldn’t work, the instructions incredibly not word friendly and no pictures of which dial did what…rang up my friend, read her the instructions which she agreed made no sense! Then after I hang up phone I moved the dial again (same as before) and bingo it came on!
But the time thing with the “Pins” is beyond me sooooooooo today or tomorrow will revisit store and have someone show me on floor model how it works.
As for op-shopping got 2 pairs of strides, one a designer label in linen/mix at the princely sum of $8. Also a couple other household items – on which when I completely unwrapped it still had the original shop label label on – so never been used!! About 1/5 of price of a “new in store” one…

How are you supposed to get it up the stairs without lifting it?
I sympathize with you about instructions. Sometimes when they don’t make any sense, or when they seem to make sense but the gadget doesn’t work the way they say, all we can do is play around. I spent a couple of hours last night getting a piece of software to work because it wasn’t behaving the way it was supposed to. I tried contacting the company by filling out a bunch of information and submitting it. Then I got two messages. The first said “Case created!” That was followed by a red warning: “Case creation failed.” I tried again and got the same results so ended up figuring it out by myself. I’m glad you have a real person you can talk to. This company won’t take phone calls unless you pay them.
It sounds as if you did have luck with some of your shopping. That’s good. 🙂
Partly productive, partly regressive, mostly routine. Some achievements, some frustrations and some great moments. Progress was in the amount of reading that I was able to squeeze in.
