Sun and Frost

We didn’t get much snow, but the sun on the frost was spectacular yesterday, so Andy took a lot of pictures. They don’t do the scenery justice, of course, but they’re better than nothing.

Atmospheric photographs, Jean. Some of the snow covered tree/plant “sculptures” almost eerie. Evocative. Gorgeous.

    Lovely!
and even lovelier that it’s there, not here!
    LOL!

I was happy to stay down here and see the pictures when he got home. Especially because he spent about an hour and a half clearing trees off the road before he could get up there.

sculptural land art – great….maybe Andy should enter them in a show…some would be stunning prints IMHO

His little point-and-shoot isn’t good enough for that. He does have a medium-format print camera that he used for photography before the fire, but if he ever gets back to photography he’ll probably get a good digital one. They’re so much easier than print and the quality of digital has improved a lot in the past few years.

  5. You made me homesick for the north country! Beautiful shots!
