Political Wrestling

That just about sums it up.

I’ve never been a fan of wrestling, and I don’t plan to start now.

The quality of our lives depends on how we focus our energy and our attention.

I plan to focus mine on something less depressing, more uplifting. Or on something that makes me laugh, like a good political cartoon.

What about you?

  1. Effective humor always strikes close to the truth. The first one is so good, and so bitter!

I once knew someone who was keen on wrestling. I asked him how he could enjoy something so vicious but he pointed out that it was all hammed up and nobody got really hurt. But if it’s all hammed up, what’s the point of watching?

My grandmother used to love watching it. She really got excited. I can sort of understand why, but it doesn’t work for me.

I too like to keep politics at an arm’s distance.

  4. I think your quote is spot on, and a good reminder — I really need to stop watching the political news shows. At least for the weekend! 🙂

I don’t watch TV, except the series I see later via Netflix. Reading articles on the internet works better for me — they give me a choice about which I skip, which I skim, and which I think more deeply about.

    I don’t understand wrestling.
    Professional or as a sport.
Although I dated someone who went to college on a wrestling scholarship.
    LOL!

I actually find myself watching the political wrestling more than I ever have before.
I guess it’s because it all seems so unreal.

But I’m focusing much more on trying to feel better…
    and on gardening
and of course my Art. I have TWO commissions!
    😀 😀 😀
