They’re Off!

Kaitlin, Torben and the pups left for home yesterday morning. They sent this picture of Montana intently looking at the rabbits on the way to the main highway…

and this picture of Sammy and Montana getting excited when they were about to stop for a break.

I do love the internet and their cell phones! Here are pictures they took Monday evening. They were out on the porch waiting for the fireworks (many miles away, binoculars help) to start. Sammy is happy when the temperature drops, but Montana prefers the heat.

Andy and I had left shortly after 8 for the hour drive home, and it was exciting to see the pictures and to chat with Kaitlin after we got here. As I said, I do love the internet!

What will we do without the internet and smartphones with cameras?

  2. No doubt, there are so many benefits! Especially when you consider how easy it is to keep in touch with loved ones!

There was a time when people moved and never saw their families again. I don’t take communication and travel for granted!

sometimes I get better photos with my new phone – but many times, the tremors get in on the action…sometimes that makes for an entertaining photo but my memory of a mentor who thought “it wasn’t PC with my skills”… makes it harder to overcome as I often like the effect -without effort or fancy software. (this not from more recent mentor…who has stranger ideas in many ways…enuff said on said matters for now!)

Doing the best we can with what we have (left). I think it’s great that sometimes the tremor adds an effect you like. You have your own creative style so you might as well build on it.
