Ringside Seat

The management of our apartment complex changed a couple of years ago, and they have been gradually working on upgrades. Last month they finally took out the old abandoned swimming pool. It was a BIG job.

It was fun watching the process from our porch and bedroom window, and we’re curious to see what they do next.

do you have any idea on what is planned? or are you just playing the game, off “it’s sure to be a nice surprise” 🙂

Originally they were going to put in a splash pad for the kids but the investors may decide it costs too much and settle for just a gazebo. They are going to try to make it look nice.

I hope that they plant a nice garden there instead of another block of apartments!

  3. Hopefully some beautiful landscaping, with a gazebo and and rose-covered arches?

I have always loved to watch men using those big machines!
it’s incredible what they can do in such small spaces.
they’re widening one of the main streets in our city and there they are… with those HUGE earth moving machines and they have cars going on both sides while they’re working in the middle! talk about claustrophobic! they’re incredible!
I hope yours will be a new beautiful area. but chances are… more parking for cars? it seems that’s always at a premium. 🙂

No, not parking. Hopefully at least grass and a gazebo.

I’m impressed at what is going on with your road widening. That’s awesome.
