I try to see it all from an historical perspective.
but still I can’t help wishing.
what if the whole world did only three simple things.
tell the truth. don’t take what is not yours. and be kind.
and that kindness would extend to the whole planet.
the forests and skies and seas and animals and plants.
we are clearly so not the most intelligent species of them all!
Rabbits and mice would like that, but I’m not sure if coyotes and other predators would go along with it. And, of course, the rabbits and mice would keep propagating and die of starvation. If I were the director of the universe I would have set things up differently, but we’re stuck with life the way it is and have to deal with it. What would Marcus Aurelius say?
