ohmygosh! I laughed.
and then I started watching some of Jeanne Robertson’s stuff.
she’s 6’2″ and her husband is 6’6″.
the one of her and Left Brain (her husband) going down the Colorado rapids!
and even better… the lizard in the tent on the same trip. OMG! I laughed so hard. did you check hers out too? (Robertson. I just saw them and I’m not sure Robertson is right. great scot!)
and… great post! thanks!
Actually I read her book The Magic of Genie years ago when I was in Toastmasters. She was one of the speakers on a tape set of theirs about humor in public speaking — in her tape segment she included the baton story: https://youtu.be/V4vcOmNXqjc That was at least 25 years ago, and I still remember her and her accent.
Here’s another recent video, about getting her grandson to learn cursive: https://youtu.be/GV1Co-wDwbY Another brilliant one. π
I love her humor, self-deprecating and drollβI like that she cracks herself up from time to time! I also checked into Jeanne Robertson’s vids, so a fun time was had this morning!
LOL
She’s talented!
LOLOLOL!
Love it!
Impressive lady!

She is one of the funniest stand ups that I have heard. Thanks for this reminder.
This is the first time I’ve heard her. She’s brilliant.
I laughed so hard I cried. Then I told some of it to Dave and he laughed, too. Thanks for the day brightener.
I’m glad you liked it too!
