Curiosity Quiz

Discover your curiosity type — are you an artist, inventor, explorer or scientist? Take the quiz.

I took this three-minute curiosity quiz from the Encyclopedia Britannica this morning, and surprise, surprise, I turned out to be a scientist type. It makes sense — when I have technical problems, especially the kind when various tech support personnel give different answers, I can slip into the patient, curious mode rather than getting frustrated because the problem isn’t solved right away. It helps a lot.

The quiz is short and I enjoyed it. Are you curious? If so, what kind of curiosity?

Mom took the quiz and she too is a scientist. She wasn’t surprised either because she was a math teacher and loves all things related to numbers and puzzles. We think we would rather be explorers:)

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  2. appears I’m in the “right” field – of artist 🙂 although “explorer” spoke volumes…maybe for ideas rather than finding new lands

  3. That was fun! It said that “I’m an explorer, and curious about the many different people, cultures, places, and ways of life found in the world, now and throughout history.” So true – Which is why I love blogging. Its taken me to places I’ll never get to go, and I’ve made friends with people like you, Tammy and so many others who I would not have had the chance to get to know otherwise.

I’ve always thought of myself as an explorer because I love to learn new things and play with ideas. But having spent a lot of time the past few days dealing with a thorny technical problem I can see a bit of scientist is there too.

I agree, it’s a fun quiz! And that blogging is a blessing!

I too am a scientist type—not what I expected, but life is full of surprises! Thanks for this. It was fun!

I’m not surprised because you do so much research for your blog. They don’t really mean an interest in physics or other sciences. Do you think of yourself as an explorer of ideas the way a lot of us do?

my result was artist! how did I miss this post? LOL!
given my memory I’m surprised I even registered in the test. 😀
    but it was fun.
and I agree with Kim. this internet thing has and continues to be a wonderful helpful and fascinating thing for me. notice I didn’t say ‘ordeal!’ it’s only an ordeal when my non-scientific mind fights with it!

I’m not surprised you are an artist. Just think of so many of the beautiful sites you read. Yes, for us the internet is a blessing. 🙂
