Snow on the Land

Andy took these pictures yesterday. Notice, because of the wind, the snow doesn’t look much different from early last week. Also notice the snowshoe tracks in the fourth picture:

Andy went up this morning, fully prepared to walk in, but it was raining when he reached the start of his walk. That never happened back in the day! He decided it wasn’t worth getting thoroughly soaked and came back.

a wise choice on Andy’s part.
    really wild weather. everywhere.
our beautiful snow is long gone of course!

It’s pretty but it sure does look cold. This time of year I prefer inside activities. I am not fond on winter and cold weather.

I asked a colleague once, “You don’t really like snow, do you Tai Sen?” “He said, oh, I love snow.” He pointed to a poster I had on the wall of a snow covered mountain and added, “Up on the mountains I love snow, just not down here.” I can relate to that!

  3. I like of that snow/winter picture – but I think as I’ve said before, “being within it” wouldn’t be my cup of tea….no snow here, sun is out, there’s a little breeze which is keeping the humidity away – but somehow I haven’t gone off site, which I had intended to do!
Rather playing around with “art-related things” and feeling very good about it…more later when I have ironed out a few other things!

It looks soooo cold! I’d be sitting near the fire, with a hot coffee in my hand!

Striking photos! I’m content to enjoy the snow at a distance, or in photos or videos, having enjoyed, and otherwise, the real life experience. Better suited to my younger self. Appreciate hearing of your solar usage experiences.

I remember when I thought snowshoeing was fun. Maybe 40-50 years ago? 🙂

I’m thinking that maybe I won’t mind the snow so much when I retire but right now, I’m hating it.
One of the many reasons why I won’t move to Vermont where my sister is.
    Blah!
