I Would Rather Have a Pup

A wildlife rehabilitator is caring for this baby beaver until it is old enough to live outside. She can hardly wait!

  2. JB’s genes are intact even if his surrogate Mother doesn’t have the beaver instincts to teach him…and yes looks like an outdoor pond is the best option – as long as JB can’t just stroll in to the house to collect some much needed material for his dam…

    That damage is unbelievable.
    It’s kinda insane, to let him run around and totally destroy the actual house!
    A friend of mine has a raccoon. And even though she’s a wild animal, she never did damage like that.
    Yep, I’d MUCH rather have a dog!

      I agree, it was crazy to let JB have complete run of the house. Surely some kind of compromise could have been made, satisfying his needs and still not letting him chew up the baseboards and drywall?
