More Snow?

Here are some more snow pictures Andy took yesterday.

He plowed the couple of miles to the fire station yesterday and today plowed the six or seven miles to Graduation Flats on the Dome Road. We only had a couple of inches of snow, but the wind caused drifts.

The predicted storm didn’t hit until this evening, and the weather is supposed to improve tomorrow. We will see. Andy did say that when he was driving home he saw more than one snow plow with drivers parked on the side of the road, just waiting.

    Speaking of snowplow drivers…
They seem to be the only ones happy around here!
    Lol!

By the way, Andy is amazing.

Yes, he’s slowing down but he’s amazing! The snowplow drivers sitting in their trucks waiting for the snow tickled us. 🙂

  2. wow, funny that “more snow” and it looks like it could bury a building up there…wow!
well someone up above turned off the “heat valve” this morning, and I went out the back door with my little light cardy and decided that actually I needed a different layer – and I didn’t take it off until I returned home…BUT on one bus I drifted onto – the heaters were on!!! It wasn’t unpleasant but it was a bit of shock…as the rest of the day “air-con” on them…

I’m glad that snow isn’t hitting us. We’ve had very little here this year and that suits me just fine.

Goodness, it looks as if the cabin is half-submerged!

Waiting or sleeping in the cab? We used to do that when we were out plowing.

We wish we were getting more snow – we have rain and thunderstorms – crazy weather!!!

I still remember reading in the paper years ago about a fellow who was enjoying watching the snow gently falling in his yard when suddenly BOOM! Lightning struck his fence and blew it up. So much for peaceful snow. 🙂
