Beate took a lot of pictures of their Sunday walk. I put over a hundred of them on Flickr. No doubt way too many for most people, but they give a feeling for how long and strenuous the walk was, and I thought Kaitlin might like to see them.
We can see the ridge from the house, so they could also see the house from the ridge.

That is some amazing view.
It was gorgeous before the fire burned all the trees, but it’s still nice.
amazing but also sad that as spring arrives all that is to be seen of the forest is “sticks” revealing a solidly build house in the distance – if leaves had arrived or had still been on trees, it wouldn’t have been clear view, rather just snippets …
