Jellyfish

I love this cartoon, not because I think it’s funny — I don’t — but because it made me want to learn about jelly fish.

We homo sapiens think we’re so superior, but we’re threatening to make the world uninhabitable for ourselves while the jelly fish are thriving. Is it possible brains are overrated when it comes to evolution?

Well I know a whole lot more about jellyfish than I did before. Very interesting

Human brains are very much over-rated. We have the ability to solve difficult problems, but we also have the ability to believe total nonsense and to minimise huge problems instead of dealing with them urgently. The latter could very well lead to the destruction of the planet and human beings with it. While jellyfish and cockroaches thrive.

  4. As always you come up with some interesting things!

ditto Nick! I totally agree about your comments on the human brain.

Our brains evolved to survive in certain situations, and it’s silly to think mankind should behave with more foresight than it does.

It confirms my belief that I should stay the hell out of the ocean!
