lol.
yes. they can definitely wake you up.
I read not too long ago (can’t remember where) that people who study birds have found that they’re chirping and singing louder because of our own LOUD noise level! they’ve simply adapted to their noisy environment. that they sing many times to make other birds aware of their territory or for attracting a mate or for warning of cats or other predators. it was very interesting. just another way they’ve had to evolve because of us!
That’s early! Andy’s folks had trouble with some once — the crows roosted in the trees outside their bedroom window and started cawing at first light as I recall. There was nothing legal his folks could do to get rid of them.
Apparently here in town people can keep chickens but not roosters.
When we lived in France for a year I loved the sound of a rooster crowing in the morning. But it was far enough away that it was pleasant, not obnoxious. Neighbors with chainsaws, snow blowers (not your problem), or other noisy equipment would be a real nuisance.
haha that was not my issue this morning. One of the dogs wanted to get up and he thinks I have to go downstairs with him, then the cat started a meow thing so I finally got up….BRATS.

Thanks for telling me that. It makes sense. 😀
BOL – The sound of the smaller birds early in the morning can be quite refreshing, but those darn crows’ caw is downright jolting.
Yes, it’s horrible when people want to sleep.
When I leave for work in the morning as soon as I walk out the door they are at full volume.

Thanks for the laugh!
😀
roosters and their wake up call…occasionally in the city, when people keep chooks, they have a rooster. It is soon stilled by the authorities…
half the time here though, the weekend brings out that guy keen to get on with his chainsaw and cutting I guess pesky tree branches…
and I’ve got the one over the fence of late with some sort of router machine late evening…

It’s not birds that wake us up here. It’s the latest bunch of workmen digging up the road to fix something – at the earliest time they can think of.
Yes, they do start early, and they are noisy!
It would been great if I could slept in. Darn body habit woke me up.
Coffee is on
Do you ever take naps? I find them helpful at times. Actually, I often find them helpful!
I rarely hear early morning sounds here because our place is well insulated and we keep our windows closed to keep allergens out. But, garbage trucks…
That’s too bad, but hopefully the noise doesn’t last too long.

Oh, yes! Kaitlin and Torben have that problem too. 😀
