A Welcome Sight

There are two more pictures on Flickr.

If all goes well the inspector will come up today and they will pour the concrete into the walls tomorrow. Who knows what will happen next week!

    • Jean says:

No, the area inside these walls will be filled with pumice and dirt. There will be steps to the door. Fingers crossed we get to see this year.

  4. Is part of the greenhouse going to be underground to save energy?

    • Jean says:

No, the greenhouse will be on top of three of these walls. The area seen in the pictures will be filled with pumice and dirt.

  9. Being I came into blogging with you late, what is it you have being built? If they are moving along and things are getting done then that means it should get done sooner then later. Progress is always a great thing. In reply to your comment on the furbabe blog…..I was a DOG person all the way, all my life till I turned 57! Having had allergies to cats growing up I pretty much stayed away from them. Ten or more yrs of allergy shots helped with that issue. I got Lily Bit as a pet for my dog Dakota cause when I retired he started acting like a grumpy old man. You would have thought me being at home would have made him happy, NOT cause for 10 yrs he went to my moms to play with her dogs all day and I picked him up every evening after work. So he missed having the other dogs daily….him and Lily play, sleep and love on each other. Had I known cats are easier, I would have given it a try a long time ago.

We call it a greenhouse, but in fact the kit is for a sunroom, which means we have to build a back wall for it. You will see the back wall grown as time goes on.

Here’s a company photo of what the glass part might look somewhat like:
