Do you have any special places you hang out with friends? I cheerfully admit, most of my hanging out nowadays — except for with Andy, Kaitlin and Torben — is on the internet. Hurray for blogging!

Me too. Actual physical hanging-out doesn’t happen very often. My book club once a month. The odd friend. Jenny of course. That’s it. I do all my hanging out in cyberspace.
We’re so lucky to be able to do it. 🙂
Cute meme. I don’t hang out anywhere anymore except my garage.
Yes, you’re up to your ears in work. Good luck!
Sp & I met at a local Rampants cafe, in the summer the one with seating outdoors (none inside), a little historic building. Now it will most likely be Jamie’s which on the outside of the Mall…we don’t really do the Mall inside – musik, many people etc…
We used to meet at the Wardroom cafe on Totara but that was a bit odd and it kept changing hands…
Wednesdays I hang out at Queens Arcade with my knit/stitch group – we are in the arcade wide walkway in front of the fabric/yarn store and we have a few choices of what to drink including a tray of stuff provided by the shop owner…
Most other friends, just drop in here at home…though not as much of late.
Good for you! You lead a much more active social life than we do. 🙂
oh completely forgot about the internet – somehow it doesn’t feel like it’s anything extraordinary – it’s like waking up, ambling out to get a morning hot drink and then seeing what everyone’s been doing, whilst I was in slumber land 🙂
I love the way you expressed that. 🙂
I’m a very happy hermit actually. content with my simple and private life.
I hang out with my brother when I want to socialize. he’s such fun.
we often singlehandedly solve the world’s many crises and problems! LOL.
and YES! thank heaven for the internet. I’ve made wonderful friends on it.
present company here included. 🙂
I’m so glad you and your brother have one another. And, of course, we’re all grateful for our friends on the internet. It still blows me away that we can connect this way. 🙂
I rarely get out and about except to take my husband to the dr. We live a really quiet life and love staying home and working in the yard or playing with our cats and dog! I do enjoy visiting blog friends each day via my laptop!
It doesn’t take much to lead a rich, full life. As long as we have our devices and can connect to our circle of friends from the comfort of our homes.
Internet for me, too for the most part.
Yes, we’re so lucky to have it.
We think all those fireflies’ friends were meeting on our deck last night next to the spotlight:)
Mom says she hangs mostly with family and a couple of close friends.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
So your porch is a hangout place too. 😀
I totally agree – HURRAY for the internet and Blog-Land!
As for my other friends, we don’t have a place where we hang out – But we do have our “go to” places that we love to go for lunch. Does that count? 🙂
Yes that definitely counts. 🙂
My time is spent between work and home. All my friends are in my computer.
Bless the internet!
