Too Much Compassion, Not Enough Sense?

A woman saw a wounded bobcat on the side of the road and tried to be a good samaritan. She stopped, wrapped it in a blanket, and put it in the back seat of her car. Unfortunately her toddler was also there, so when she phoned to ask what to do, she was told to get her toddler and herself out of the car!

When the wildlife manager came the bobcat hissed and tried to fight her even though it mortally injured and its legs were paralysed. She finally managed to trap it, and hopefully the would-be-samaritan now understands why you should never give a wild animal a ride.

  1. Wow, how stupid do you have to be to put a wild animal and a toddler together in the back seat of a car!

Oh my. I can understand the desire to want to help the poor animal but a little common sense could go a long way there.
