For me curiosity is powerful, and also I usually have some things I need to do eventually but don’t want to do. Then when something bothers me I use that energy as “rocket fuel” to do something that is on that list.
Learning new things really turns me on, and you’re right, there are some things I routinely do. It saves a lot of deliberating. I like a balance between the two.
I don’t think that word in my vocab…I just “do” and of course now “make” BUT I don’t do anything terribly fast – it often takes years for major decisions!
What motivates me is mainly curiosity, I would say. I want to find out more about things, and anything that promises that will draw me in.
I, too, spend a lot of time asking questions and trying to answer them. It’s one of my great joys. 🙂

Routine motivates me. I like routine in my life. And I like learning new things which gets me out to lectures and into books.
