Amazon Logo

I never thought about the amazon logo very much, but I interpreted the arrow as a friendly, dynamic smile. In fact, it was designed to send the message that the company was friendly, trustworthy, and fast. The part I didn’t notice is that the arrow goes from the a to the z, because the logo was designed when the company expanded from selling just books to almost everything the customers might want.

My hat goes off to the designers of the logo. It’s simple and has the impact they wanted.

It took me awhile to figure that out too.

    It is a clever logo.

  3. It’s a great logo and I never noticed the a to z connection to their expanded line of products. I have seen the arrow used as lips on a smile with eyes added but I don’t remember where. It was a long time ago.

  4. never even thought about it….
