It was mostly cloudy, windy, and cold (mid 40’s) up there yesterday, so Joe’s crew was bundled up. The electrician inside the greenhouse was overly warm even though he was in his shirtsleeves.
Here’s what the railing looks like:

what a difference some glass and sun can make!
love the railing.
Yes, it does get warm in there!
It looks fantastic.
We’re happy with it. ๐
You guys must be so excited and pleased to see it all come together and looking so beautiful.
Yes, it’s a relief that it’s so close to being done.
It sure is looking good…the hand rail looks good and sturdy.
Thanks.
That place just keeps on looking better and better. I wonder if the workmen think you’re going to start a pot farm in there!
I’m afraid we’re too old and stodgy for that. ๐
and the view, through the front windows (err greenhouse frontage) even without plants will look stunning, and you might be quite warm…
me thinking bbq for Christmas Day as long as it’s not snowing and the sun is out…then you can experience my Southern Hemisphere C/Day…
yes I know I’m being flippant again…but until seeds are above the soil or wherever they are to grow…time for small wrought iron table with 2 chairs for the lady and lord of the manor…
It’s way too hot for sitting in there. ๐
I know winter has barely started, but you must be itching for spring alreadyโso you can start using this amazing greenhouse!
He’s going to plant as soon as the electrician finishes, assuming he can regulate the temperature. Right now it’s too hot during the day for radishes.
