With Orlando’s help, Andy added an extension to his snowplow blade. It lets him push snow off the road and down the hill when the road is narrow and there is a steep drop off.

Good observation — it’s bolted on and the bolts and piece can be removed.
What a great idea but it doesn’t look like strong enough wood to hold up with a heavy snowfall. Is your road paved?I can’t remember if we used plow shoes for gravel roads or took them off! It’s been 19 years.
I’m wondering about the strength too. No, the road isn’t paved. If we get much snow this winter we will see how well it works.
Necessity is the mother of invention…I hope it works. And I think it should.
We’ll see — it should be interesting. Mostly we’ve had mild winters but last years we got snowed out for a while.
