First, I love that first shot. And I agree with Tammy…at least it isn’t freezing.

We’ll see how long that lasts if it gets overcast for a long time. Andy’s working on a scheme to try to extend that period — I’ll write about it in a a couple of days.

  4. When it’s cold enough to snow outside and the temperature is 62 inside, the greenhouse is doing its job! How cool is that!

    • Jean says:

Yes, Andy was happy about that — the sun was gone for at least a day and a half. Today when he got there it was in the low 30’s out and the greenhouse was about 70. When the sun came out the temperature shot up to 80 and one of the fans came on to keep it from getting hotter.

  5. how are the radishes?

    and my usual wow…snow!

  6. Ann Thompson says:

I would say that the greenhouse has passed it’s initial test. It will be interesting to see how well it does when it goes longer without sun.

  7. Catalyst says:

Bravo! Your greenhouse is a huge success. And it looks pretty in the snow, even if I don’t wish for any snow here. There was some in the air the other day but it melted as soon as it hit the ground.
