The snow wasn’t unexpected — Andy put the chains on the truck last Sunday. So far no need to plow.

Not needing the snow plow is a good thing….to my way of thinking.
I agree! I’m hoping for a mild winter.
I want a mild winter in the worst way! We got an early start on one this year with plowable snow. Always a good feeling to have the trucks all dressed up and no place to go.
Yes, we wouldn’t mind if the plow and chains weren’t needed. 🙂
Snow will feel more acceptable once December comes! Having snow in October (which happened on the Canadian prairies) is just obscene!
When we lived in Ithaca the first snow flurries came in late October, and the sun came out about six times in winter, as I recall.
I had enough snow for a lifetime living for my first 29 years in the Dakotas.
I imagine so! I was raised in California and Andy in Montana, so his winters were a lot worse than mine were.
Better safe than sorry. Always good to plan ahead
Yes. 🙂
Better to be ready than get caught out…
Yes!
