That reminds me of a sign I saw in a National Monument once:
Please don’t disturb the rattlesnakes. Stay on the trail.
I’m guessing it had the desired effect.

It amazes me that people have to be told to stay away from wild animals.
Nothing surprises me any more. We’re so sheltered nowadays we don’t have experience with a lot of things. I’ve heard of kids running to wild bears — in the stories they’ve heard the bears were always friendly.
