They’re Growing, Albeit Slowly

The tomato plant is easier to see now.

And the corn is recognizable as corn plants.

It’s a lot better than we expected.

    Yeah. Slow is good as long as they are growing. And what is that sitting on the ground next to them.?

      It’s a rat zapper for under the hood of the truck to keep the critters from eating all the insulation off the wires. It’s being stored in the greenhouse to keep it out of the weather.

  2. Are you going to transplant that corn in the greenhouse or wait until spring to go outside? I can’t image the wildlife in your area would leave it alone long enough to harvest.

    You will have homegrown tomatoes before anyone else! It looks healthy enough.

      Unfortunately, we learned long ago not to get our hopes up — all sorts of things can go wrong. We’ll share the adventure with you either way, and it’s fun to try.
