Andy finished his last electronics and mounted it in the greenhouse. By turning the switch he can now read the temperature of the back of the heat-storing wall (CMU means “concrete masonry unit”, i.e., the wall) at the top and the bottom, as well as the temperature of the air behind the wall in both places.
That greenhouse is a great toy!

a fun toy that pays back in healthy treats! 😀
Yes, they are frosting on the cake. Only healthier!
I’m so impressed!
It really is clever. 🙂
well this is amazing. sounds good to me.. you have a great green house and it also gives hubby something to do… bob needs something to build or a new hobby that doesn’t depend on the wind not blowing.. maybe we need a green house
Hobbies are good for our health. 🙂
That looks like a very complicated unit. Andy is an elecronics genious.
Not too bad for an 85-year-old. 🙂
Andy must love to tinker…sounds somewhat like Roger used to be. He had as much fun getting ready to do somethings as he did doing them. Or maybe it was the challenge to see if he could do things.
It’s the same with any creative project, I think. 🙂
awesome, Andy…
and keeps you off the streets, Andy but maybe not out of the electronics and hardware store…
Actually, he gets his components and circuit boards online. He used to use catalogs, but the companies have moved on.
