Testing the Watering Timers

Andy has the watering timers set up now, and he’s testing the system for leaks. He still has to install the drip lines before he can automatically water the plants.

it’s such a clean and efficient looking thing.
I would think it could use a circle of gravel under it.
but then maybe it won’t get too muddy!

I hope it works…and I bet it does.

  3. Aren’t you glad Andy’s got a fun project to tinker with. Otherwise I visualize all the parts to your appliances laying all over the house.

Nope, Andy has never been interested in having a house down here — we’ve always lived in an apartment because I didn’t want to have to mess with maintenance either. He loves his projects up on the land, and I love seeing him happy and having my own projects down here.

  4. now I agree with – projects for Andy. And just think when K & T retire to the forest – all the mechanisms will be in place…long may they keep working. They certainly don’t look like shoddy materials or workmanship.

I seem to be on a project mode of a difference right now…trying to have enticing things to eat, when I’m not heating up the readymade meals. Today onto finding another “cracker recipe” from within what was once the recipe book, where I placed some recipes I had used before. Scribbles with out full instructions have been today’s downfall…and even my usual summary note – zilch…
I think it’s probably more the supplies/ingredients that are messing up everything – but it’s another something to add to my new situation…

At least you aren’t bored! I hope you have enough successes to reward you for your efforts. I’m still thinking of that chicken pie you ordered. That was a winner even if you (or because you didn’t have to) make it yourself. These are adventuresome as well a scary times.

But…but…what will he do when this is all automated?

    • Jean says:

It’s just watering the plants that will be automated (hopefully) once he installs the drip lines. He has plenty of other projects to work on/play with.

  6. Ann Thompson says:

It’s an impressive looking system. Hope all goes well with the test

  7. MadSnapper says:

good job, this will make all that delish garden grow so you can eat it sooner

Our dishwasher has quit taking in any water. Google tells me it may be the water inlet valve plugged up or quit altogether. Send Andy over here!
