Our Little Harvest

Do you rememeber the pea pods? And that the bottom one was filled out?

We harvested it Tuesday evening:

Harvests like this are the most fun for me, because they’re little treasures.

  1. absolutely awesome – just like a goodly row of peas in a pod. I hope you both had your fair share 🙂

I don’t like peas but those look perfect. Don’t they taste better too when you grow them yourself?

They taste best when they’re just off the vine. I still remember shelling them when I was four years old. My sister and I loved the job, but a lot more went into our mouth than into the pot. I could never understand why adults would ruin good peas by cooking them.

  4. My dog’s favorite treat….raw peas in a pod. What a great photo.
