Oh, looks delicious — so perfectly formed.
The very top pea got a bit torn, when I opened the pod, I think. But they were beautiful, and tasty.
I don’t like peas but those look perfect. Don’t they taste better too when you grow them yourself?
They taste best when they’re just off the vine. I still remember shelling them when I was four years old. My sister and I loved the job, but a lot more went into our mouth than into the pot. I could never understand why adults would ruin good peas by cooking them.

not only are they perfect peas in a pod but look delish to eat and just to see them… have not seen them since I was a child.
It’s been years since we had them right off the vine.
