Views of Living

I take a simple view of living: It is “Keep your eyes open and get on with it.”
—Laurence Olivier

My version is

Stay curious and open to life. No matter what happens keep learning and growing. FInd what you love and find a way to share it with others.

What’s your version?

I think your version sums it up nicely.

I think I have more than one actually. but lately this one…
” live and let live. and try to do no harm ” comes to mind.
it helps with any pre-conceived judgments one might have
    and keeps stresses low.

One of my favorite quotes is this, which has been in our kitchen for decades and is especially apt now:
“The only cure for boredom is curiosity.
There is no cure for curiosity.” – Ellen Parr

    Wishing you well!

  4. I think your quote is basically from taking the first one and adding a CM twist…

The first resonates with me right now…as I now grapple with putting a better schedule in place – so that I get it ALL done. Whatever ALL is…

And if along the way I share with others, either for their pleasure or to inspire them – S0 BE IT

I have looked at your view and the other quote at least half a dozen times…and while I am somewhat that way…about staying curious and liking to learn new things….I also really like to have time to enjoy the simple things in life. Though, when you look close, a walk in the woods is done partly to see what is growing, to see what I can see, as well as to just feel the peace and smell the smell.

Going fishing is the same…it is not just to go fishing…it is to see what I can see around the pond, overhead in flight, see what is blooming.

You show your attitude in all the pictures you take. 🙂

    • I have a friend, who likes to go fishing (off the rocks/beach) He said once “it’s not about the catch, I don’t care if I don’t catch anything…it’s about just being in that moment, doing something I love which is more about setting up the rod, the reel and of course hooks to bait”

And I’m beginning to think that is what I love about “making…” it doesn’t matter if I truly don’t nail it, or get it finished/framed..”
