I didn’t know this before Tempi told us, but “city of the woods” was Thoreau’s description of Carlisle, Massachusetts…and the name is still apt. Here are some pictures that Kaitlin and Torben just sent. The first one, of course, is of Tempi.

Beautiful yard! Can’t wait to see the fall version of the same views.
Fall is my favorite season. but I’m not sure it will be quite as nice as the spring greens, blossoms, and rhododendrons. But it will be fun to compare.
It is so pretty there. Brings back lots of memories to our Mom of her days in MA.
