Four Quotes

I came across two quotes yesterday that made me smile. The first one was,

After years of wanting to thoroughly clean my house but lacking the time, I have now discovered that wasn’t the reason.

It reminds me of one I learned years ago:

It’s no fun not having anything to do. What’s fun is having something to do and not doing it.

I’m afraid that’s often my attitude towards housework, but I’m consoled by this thought:

Work is precious. Save some for tomorrow.

The second quote I saw yesterday was,

To those who are complaining about the quarantine period and curfews, just remember that your grandparents were called to war; you are being called to sit on the couch and watch Netflix. You can do this.

Amen to that!
