Roadrunner Pictures

Andy saw the roadrunner yesterday and took these pictures:

I was wondering why for the first time we’ve seen one. He thinks because it likes all the open area now that he (with Beate and Tim’s help) have cleared a large defensible space. But who knows?

    I love seeing roadrunner when I go birding! They’re so elusive. Great photos.

  4. Just hearing ‘road runners’ always makes a person smile, brings us back to the cartoons of our youth, I think.

    My question is did you see a coyote anywhere? I have never seen a roadrunner except in pictures and videos. I don’t think we have them here in Florida but not sure. So they like the wide open space so they can run really fast without running into anything
