Irony

For some reason this t-shirt tickles me… I smile every time I think of it. Does anything ever affect you that way?

It made us smile too. It takes a little nanosecond of thought too:)

I’ve heard this saying before. Cute.

yes it is still funny and makes me laugh every time i see it. i saw it on FB a couple of times, but i still laughed when yours came up. i read your comment about your turkey dinner and that is exactly what we got as a gift. i told bob about you not having a regular oven to heat it all in and we had fun thinking of ways to cook waht we got with just our microwave and convection oven. I rarely use our stove oven, but i use the convection and micorwave a lot.
your comment gave me an idea of 3 stories to tell on my blog. cooking disasters.

I gave up on our gas stove years ago…I had them shut it off because it’s not ventilated to the outside. And we finally had to give up on microwave convection ovens because they’re now too heavy for us to handle. The last one is sitting on the porch with our two defunct Canon all-in-one printers. They are all too heavy for us to take down the stairs so we can recycle them. So far we haven’t found anyone we can pay to haul them off, and we won’t see Kaitlin and Torben for a good long time. There’s no great rush. It’s a big porch.

Oh, yes, things make me smile. This shirt almost made me laugh out loud.

Also, is there ever anything that you see that does not strike you at all funny, then you see it again and it is hilarious?

If I want Roger to smile/laugh I tell him I want him to scratch my toes….that was from Lorelei to him when she was around 4 yrs. old and she was serious.

He told her to scratch her own toes, and she said , ‘But Papaw, you’re right there!’ Guess who scratched her toes. (She had just got out of the bath and was all wrapped up in a towel in my lap.)

The thing I posted a while back about Tools and their uses always cracks me up….

And there is this graph…I will try to think and repost it. You will like it I think. But it a pie chart showing how your time is used. It always makes me smile…

That one tickled me, too. Many things do. One of my blog friends posts a Thought of the Day at the end of each daily blog and they often make me laugh out loud. I truly appreciate having an active sense of humor.
