New Neighbors

We went for a picnic up on the land yesterday, partly so I could say hi to Beate and Tim, who are here for the summer, and partly to see our new summer neighbors’ white trailer. We can see it from our living room…here’s a picture from our porch.

When Andy came home to pick me up he said they’re not nearly as introverted as we are.

Sure enough, they had a lot of company camping out up there with them. That’s quite a change. It does feel different.

wow. look how far on the horizon you can see from your land.
I don’t know why I’ve never noticed that before. it’s beautiful.
I hope the crowd is only there for the holiday …
and will be dispersing when it’s over!
but then that’s coming from a fellow introvert. 😀 xo

Wow, what a beautiful place you live in! So they will be camping there for the summer?

I think the owners live in Albuquerque and the fellow works, so I think they’re using the trailer until they build a summer cabin, but I don’t know. We’re assuming their guests are there just for the Memorial Day weekend.

  4. a few years ago, you probably wouldn’t have even noticed or seen them (with the forest foliage etc) the new neighbours – but it’s great that people are returning. And that Tim and Beate are back to keep Andy on his toes…

Looks like they’re having a party. At least they are far enough away that if it gets rowdy it shouldn’t bother you.

I personally would like the VACANT landscape. But life goes on.

What a beautiful view you have! Glad the crowd is far enough not to bother you.

I’m at a loss to define my feelings … but I wouldn’t care for that. At all.
    Yep. I’m an introvert, too.

It would be nicer if the trailer weren’t so white, but we have no room to talk. We mess up the view from the road across the valley.

kind of sad to lose your view to PEOPLE. i much prefer it without them or their trailer. you have been blessed to have it as long as you have. and good you can’t hear them

I like to see other people out enjoying nature–as long as I can’t hear them. 🙂
