My Happy Place

Ah! there is nothing like staying home for real comfort.
—-Emma, Jane Austin

I smiled when I read this quote. It reminds me of two others:

Home is where the heart is.

and

This is my happy place.

Where is your happy place?

Yes, home is where my heart is. Mainly because I’m lucky enough to now have a very nice house. Decades ago when I lived in a shabby bedsit, my heart was definitely not at home but more at the museums and galleries and cinemas I frequented.

Home is definitely my happy place. I don’t need to travel or do a lot of things away from home. I love being home.

Right here in the slow lane, aka Chapman Road. Wouldn’t have it any other way!

Home is my happy place, and i don’t mean this HOUSE… I could move to nother place and as long as my home of Bob and Beau were with me I would still be happy. of course there are places I prefer over others.

It wouldn’t be the same without Andy and the internet, but we’ve lived in this apartment for over 46 year so it’s full of warm memories.

Wherever Dave is. He’s my happy place. I even went back to dealing with Minnesota winters when he needed to be here.
