is that Kaitlin, Torben, and the pups are doing so well. Kaitlin took this picture from inside the house:
They look so peaceful and contented.
Kaitlin has also been sharing a lot of pictures of their plants, which we appreciate.
I’ve already shown you these:
There are a lot more on Flickr here.
Thanks, Kaitlin and Torben!

These are beautiful, are they Redbuds? The first photo is so peaceful and lovely.
Rhododendrons.
Peaceful, easy feeling! One would never guess there were pandemics and angst outside their pretty sanctuary.
🙂
I can well imagine that these photos cause you joy – it will be really nice when you can go see it all in person, and of course them all come see you both. In the meantime, aren’t we lucky to have this gadget that is quick to accomplish, not like the “old days” when we had to take the “film into be processed” – not knowing much of the time if we got it all in focus or was a ghost within it…
It’s so much easier now. I would hate to go back.
That’s great that she shares all those pictures with you. They have such a beautiful yard. The dogs look like they love it too.
It’s a great place for the pups. They didn’t like the style of the house at first, but they’ve made it theirs now, so now they love it too. And they’ve done a great job on the yard.
a wonderful post!
and I just came from Flickr.
what a Treat!
there is a beautiful almost Zen Like quality to their home.
and Tempi and Zoe seem to agree! lol. Love them Lounging so relaxed.
if Torben is the only gardener… he certainly has enough to keep him busy!
it’s all simply breathtaking to me. it’s the kind of lush Green that I always connect with memories of ‘back East’ when we went to visit my mother’s country! it’s truly where my soul belongs.
Yes, lush greenery. We’ll never see that here in the West with the worsening drought. I’m so happy for them.
I am so happy that you share the pictures he shares with you because I do love seeing dogs laying in the grass and enjoying life. I love her pups to death. Both of them are so sweet and beautiful
Those pups are well-loved by us all. 🙂
Beautiful yard with contented dogs. What more could you ask for?
Agreed. 🙂
Their yard is looking so lovely. It reminds me of my childhood home in Springfield, Massachusetts where a 50 foot stretch of the backyard was lined with rhododendrons just like those. The pups sure do look very happy.
Kaitlin is thrilled with the rhododendrons. They didn’t do well at all in Illinois, their previous home of 18 years.
It all looks so beautiful.
🙂
Beautiful peaceful setting, except when something invades those two big dogs’ territory! A lot of work, though, to keep it looking so perfect.
It is a lot of work!
