Phew ?. After the time sink I created with the tree that would not fall down episode I am glad that the brush cutting I did saved him time ?
At least the tree is down and the defensible space is done for a while. It’s such a long trip for you all and we appreciate you coming. Please remember, we love having you here. Have a safe trip home.

So what happens to what you cut down? Does it get hauled away or left to dry out and die?
It gets left to dry out and hopefully rot and add to the soil. That’s another reason for cutting them when they’re small, they decompose faster.
