A Delightful Surprise

When Andy got out the brush cutter and started to work on the defensible space today, he realized how much Torben had done. So Andy finished it off and, needless to say, he’s very happy.

Thank you, Torben!

At least the tree is down and the defensible space is done for a while. It’s such a long trip for you all and we appreciate you coming. Please remember, we love having you here. Have a safe trip home.

yay for found blessings, with all that work, and that is HARD work, it is great to find the surprise… and not least of all the safety of it being done. prayers for a safe trip back home.. you know i love your furry grand kids

  5. So what happens to what you cut down? Does it get hauled away or left to dry out and die?

    • Jean says:

It gets left to dry out and hopefully rot and add to the soil. That’s another reason for cutting them when they’re small, they decompose faster.

  6. Catalyst says:

Good to clear it at this time of year.

  7. Ann Thompson says:

That’s always nice when you have less work than expected.

  8. More time to enjoy the day – I do love those kind of surprises too!
