Just goes to show, you didn’t eat every single tomato! But yes I’ve had that happen to me – and of the number that do that, a few actually get going and have more fruit that coming season….
Maybe wait and see which ones really get going or thin them now
Andy is pulling them up when they’re in the wrong place. We want them off the ground this time, but we were happy they took over the garden this past year. Good memories. 🙂
Not me! Seems like you have either a green thumb, or really good soil.
Those tomatoes last year were amazing, but this year we want them to grow off the ground. Fingers crossed. It would be funny if they don’t like it this year. 🙂
WOW!
like getting a constant little present every day. 😀 xo
It’s fun to watch. 😀
I am betting that the seeds inside the tomatos laid there until they dried out and then grew. this is amazing. i do know daddy planted tomato seeds in his tiny grow box and then when the plants were bigger he transplanted them to his garde. he created the box with 2 by 10 boards, the size of a set of old french doors. hinged the french doors on the box and that was his seedling grow box… like your green house but tiny
My uncle had a cold frame like that, but his was bigger, I think. His tomatoes loved it.
In the immortal words of Gomer Pyle, “Well I’ll be!”
🙂
That happened to me one year. I had left a bunch of tomato plants go until the following year and come spring I had all kinds of little tomato plants coming back up
It’s fun to watch. We played with bean bags one year and bean plants started to grow. 🙂
Miracles happen. Eventually, maybe when transplanted you will have an abundance again.
He’s not going to transplant them. He just wants a few that grow up in a tomato tower. We’ll see if they like that as much.
