We went up to the land yesterday afternoon for a picnic supper and to see the fall colors. It was starting to cloud up but it was pretty anyway.

Tomorrow I’ll write about the greenhouse.

Absolutely breathtaking!! My sister sent me a photo of her mountain property in Colorado. A perfect time of year.
I may have to share her photo on my blog too.
Please do share her photos. 🙂
Aspen? Either way, very pretty.
Yes, aspen. Mostly yellows but still pretty.
What a lovely place for a picnic!
Yes. 🙂
Beautiful colors. We are still pretty much all green.
🙂
Beautful Aspen!
Yes. 🙂
Very pretty. You’ve got quite a lot of color up there. I haven’t seen too much here yet but then I haven’t ventured very far away from home either.
The trees down here have changed too and a lot of the leaves have already fallen.
it is so pretty and I would enjoy a picnic on top of your mountain for sure, and i would not have to camp out since there is a new mattress. maybe you should list your mountain top on Airbandb .. you have the best of both worlds
Andy is up there almost every day working on his projects. It’s a bit of a commute, but definitely the best of both worlds for him. And when I go up it’s like a marvelous mini vacation.
Oh, my! What beauty!
Yes. 🙂
“Take me home, country roads …..”
My heart is full!
🙂
We are lucky to have a similar view right out our windows since we face a nature preserve. This coming weekend is usually peak color here but we seem to be slightly behind schedule this year–some color but still lots of green.
I’ve read climate change is causing fall to arrive later at a lot of places.
the other side of the coin here, spring is starting to get underway – I noticed my grapevines are coming into leaves….
It’s fun to watch the seasons change, isn’t it? 🙂
Jean, yes it does – but particularly Autumn and Spring
