The Last of the Beans

Andy picked the last of the beans yesterday. The cucumbers are still doing fine, but it looks as if we waited too long to start picking the corn. We’ll have to see.

At the moment I’m up to my ears with computer stuff. I bought a new Mac mini and am doing a clean start instead of transferring data and programs from my present machine. It will take a while and I’m resisting the urge to get it finished as soon as possible. I keep reminding myself,

Work is precious. Save some for tomorrow.

How are things going with you?

It’s been so long since I’ve had fresh green beans from the garden. They were always a favorite.

I have never heard of this Mac Mini. Maybe you can show us and tell us about it? Maybe it is a small computer, or a tablet or convertable type.

I did a clean start on my new Mac Air–yes, it takes awhile. You pretty much HAVE to save some for tomorrow. But, it is so nice to get rid of all that clutter that you decide not to transfer. 🙂

  7. I keep forgetting what season you are in – but then I guess in a way the “greenhouse” is year round if you care to keep it heated…

I have a lot of “work” for the next day – week – month … be it art or household things…

Green beans fresh from my garden are just a memory.. but sure sounds good. Sometimes I just try to slow down and enjoy the process of something like what you are doing. Sometimes I succeed and others not so much.

It’s worth learning to do. Mostly when things come up nowmy initial reaction is usually to relax my body and give my mind a chance to work.
