It was a busy day. I’m still working on setting up my new computer, and our internet provider up on the land is changing, so a technician went up this afternoon to install a new dish and modem. He’s from Albuquerque and didn’t know anything about the area, so when he phoned I had him look at Google maps and told him where he could meet Andy. Andy would guide him up there. Then I sent Andy a text and email, which fortunately got to him in time.
Andy is also having trouble with a program on his PC, but we didn’t spend much time on that today. More tomorrow!

computer problems are always frustrating for me
I try to be patient and not frustrated.
new computers and new internet, not fun but will be great when it is done. did you get a laptop or desk top? good luck, I always fuss until it is set up and then love it… I bet the internet guy was blown away at where he went
I get Mac minis and use my own monitor, keyboard, etc.
It does sound fortunate that Andy got your email…the technician was even more so.
Yes, it would have been a mess!
Oh, my heart goes out to that internet guy trying to navigate the route!
I hope he discovered the views were totally worth it!
It was easy for him. All he had to do was stay on the main, paved road. He did overshoot so Andy took after him, but he realized he had gone too far and turned around.
It also sounds like you have a WHOLE lot of computer work, what with changing everything over. We have to call our computer guy for things like this, so you must be really knowledgable about this.
It takes a lot of time and patience, but it pays off. We don’t have a computer guy.
Computers are so frustrating when they don’t work as expected and so much fun when they do.
By now I expect things to go wrong. 🙂
At least it keeps you and your mind busy and working:)
Yes, it’s great mental exercise. 🙂
Yep, lots of interesting and learning on your part and for Andy
🙂
