He says it reminds him of his youth, when they made boats of squash like this. He wanted to show me before he tossed it out.

We went up to the land for a picnic supper last night, to make the most of the last day of “Daylight Time.” I will try to write about that tomorrow.

that is one wow of a squash and bigger than any I have ever seen. boats. hummmm that is new to me also
Apparently they hollowed them out and floated them.
That squash is colossal. But of most interest is the super picnic!!
The trip was fun.
