The Plants Keep Growing…

even when Andy is up to his ears in other chores.

He brought these home last night. The cucumbers were about 8 inches long.

And tonight he said he found another squash. It was at least two feet long and weighed ten pounds or more so he didn’t bring it home. I asked him to take a picture before he tossed it into the composter.

No end of entertainment here.

Gotta love getting fresh cucumbers in November. That’s one huge squash. Now I wonder what the world record is for biggest squash.

I am laughing at your comment about no end to entertainment. you and I see life through the same eyes. the reason bob named me MADsnapper is because I am always snapping pics like yours. bugs, frogs, tomatoes, leaves andy thing I bring in the house. i wonder if you should cut up the giant squash and cook a few peices to see what it would do, maybe a thin slice breaded and fried like my mother used to do with squash

Would you believe we don’t fry or roast? As Andy says, “If it can’t be microwaved it can’t be cooked.” He’s incredibly easy to cook for so I’m not complaining. 🙂

Wow! Those in the middle look just like the Greenies I give our dogs.

  4. ten pound squash wouldn’t taste good, I take it. Amazing size, though.
