Zoe loves water and had no problem with her first taste of the Pacific ocean. (She had already been in the Atlantic.)
She’s not like Banshee and Sammy, their first pups. Kaitlin and Torben took them to Lake Michigan and Banshee enthusiastically jumped in. She jumped right back out, ran to Kaitlin, and jumped into Kaitlin’s arms. She was never going to try that again. Sammy didn’t like water so he didn’t even try it. (Correct me if I have the story wrong, Kaitlin.)
Pups certainly are different.

Update: Tempi has just written about the pups’ uninvited visits to their their next door neighbor: Chef Mike. Whether they wanted it or not, Kaitlin and Torben have been introduced.

Years ago I had 2 chocolate labs. One loved the water and the other one hated it.
It’s interesting how different they can be. Just like people, I guess. 🙂
the two of us have had 6 dogs in our 38 years and everyone of them was different, only Max, our first dog loved the water, bob used to put a 20 foot rope on him and let him do what Zoe is doing. he also loved our pool. headed over for the Tempe story
