He saw one of our Cochiti Mesa neighbors at the gas station who said there was about 10 inches of light fluffy snow up there. It’s cold enough for it to stay that way so Andy’s guessing he can drive up to the land tomorrow if he puts chains on.
Ordinarily this would be laundry day for me, but I did it yesterday instead. The laundry room is in the building directly to the west of us, but yesterday was nicer than this.
A lazy, cozy snow day.

No snow here but I think the temperature topped out at around 45 with a fierce wind. I had to go see a doctor this morning but kept my big puffy coat on until I went into his consulting room.
The wind makes a big difference.
Wait, it looks like you live in an apartment complex?? But I thought you have some kind of ranch house or cabin?? Didn’t you have to rebuild it? Am I having another senior moment?
We live down here in an apartment. Have since 1974. We also have the house in the mountains where Andy goes almost every day.

glad to know you made it through doing laundry and did not have to walk in this snow to get there. hope Andy can do his mountain top visit today and do it safely. its important for men to get out of the house. bob is bored to tears and needs to get out. turning into a slug with nothing to do
Yes, the land is great for Andy’s mental and physical health. :). He had no trouble going up today.
Good foresight to get your laundry down on the better weather day. Tire chains are illegal where I live. Not sure if that’s true of the northern counties but I do remember the days when we could use them here. That’s not an easy job getting them on.
Andy doesn’t use chains on paved roads. He only put them on the front wheels today and it worked fine.
I’d be fretting about that drive — but at least y’all are accustomed to it.

No new snow today, but it was cold
I’m just glad I don’t own one of those cars and have to clear all the snow off it before I can drive anywhere. Don’t you think the snow on the cars looks a bit like icing?
No snow here in Belfast. We had one or two light flurries last year but they melted in a couple of hours.
The cars were easy to clear off because the snow was light and fluffy.
A cozy day is a good day!
