I know from past experience with mirrors that there have been times I feeling pretty good until I spotted my reflection in a mirror. 🙂

On more than one occasion! LOL!

    YES! xo

Hmmm, mirrors can certainly have quite a bit of power over us!

  5. agree with Ginny

today when I was chatting on the phone, because the forthcoming zoom meeting is cancelled (not due to you know what) I said “that’s good I won’t have put on lippy or look put together” and V laughed…

which is another mirror that all zoom meetings bring you right up close and personal …

I wear a mask and a hat when I go out, so not that much of me is visible. 😀 My booster shot has worn off and the new variant is starting to rear its head, so l figure I might just as well keep the mask habit. Saves a lot of thinking.

I sometimes think of them as a necessary evil. I do wonder if anyone actually enjoys seeing themselves in one.

i am shocked every time i look in a mirror and am guilty of talking out loud to the old person in the mirror. I say wrinkles are showing well today. Your hair needs to be cut. yours eyes are red.. allergies are killing me right now. I never dress without looking in the mirror
My RE broker had no mirrors in her house but two high on the wall in the bathrooms that showed only her face. she would come to work and say is my dress ok? slip showing? she refused to look at herself in a window or full lenght mirror

  8. I love mirrors, not so much for looking in them but for reflecting light around where it wouldn’t naturally go. And they handy for seeing around corners.

  9. Absolutely! Years ago I read something accusing those who are always looking at their own reflection of being narcissistic. I disagree — believing (in my case, anyway) it stems from insecurity; how I look.
The older I become, the more I see my mother’s face looking back at me.

  10. Linda Sand says:

I seldom actually look at a mirror. I stand in front of the bathroom mirror several times a day when washing my hands but I don’t look. Why would I want to do that? 🙂

  11. Well, I don’t always like what I see!!!
