When it was free, it flew a short distance stopped & looked back at me like it was thanking me! I will never forget that!

Wonderful story. Amazing that the mother goose stood and watched like that. She obviously understood her young one was being helped. Then again she was smart enough to go to a human to ask for help in her own way
Geese must pay attention when ever someone untangles an animal from a net or string and when cops stop traffic to help mom’s with babies go across streets.. Amazing!
Proof that mothers will do whatever it takes.
