A Big Job!

Andy ordered 3 rolls of 300-ft pipe to get water back to the orchard. They came Thursday evening, which is why we went up there Friday for our picnic lunch.

Here’s a video of Andy unrolling the first 300 feet. He’s going from the clearing down to the old greenhouse area. (Click on the picture to see the video.)

It was a big job, and bless Beate and Tim for their help yesterday with the other two rolls. Thanks to them there is now water down to the orchard. Andy is waiting for more pieces for the drip lines, but the hardest part is now done.

Thanks again, Beate and Tim!

Andy sure is a hard worker. That sounds like an exhausting job to me. At least the orchard has water now.

So happy the orchard has water, and I agree with everyone, he is a dedicated man and a super hard worker. I am thinking that coil has to weigh a ton to pick it up like that. You are blessed to have neighbors who can and will help. could not open the video

  8. What a guy! What sort of footwear does he/you wear? While watching the video I was concerned he might twist an ankle walking backwards like that over uneven terrain.
